After my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, she was treated and helped to beat cancer. I am taking part in the Walk For Hope event to support the charity to help others whom suffer.

Wessex Cancer Trust believes that there should be help and support available to everyone living with cancer, when and where they need it.

They have six cancer support centres, which cover Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and the IOW. Their centres have specialist counsellors to help deal with the emotional impact of cancer and complementary therapies to improve wellbeing, help with pain management and increase self-confidence. The charity also provides a range of support and activity groups along with specialist children’s services and helps 8,000 local people each year.
